Important Coronavirus Support
Payments to support businesses during the second national lockdown from 5 November 2020.
The application process is now open for those businesses that are required to close by law during the period 5 November 2020 and 2 December 2020 These businesses include non-essential retail, leisure , personal , sports facilities and hospitality businesses.
Payments will be based on the rateable value of the premises on the qualifying date of restrictions and be as follows:
- Businesses with a rateable value of £15,000 or under will receive a payment of £1,334 per 28- day qualifying restriction period.
- Businesses with a rateable value of over £15,000 and under £51,000 will receive a payment of £2,000 per 28- day qualifying restriction period.
- Business with a rateable value of £51,000 or over will receive £3,000.

Local Restrictions Support grant (Open) ( Tier 2)The Government has also asked the council to create a scheme to pay Tier 2 grants for businesses in the hospitality,* accommodation and leisure sectors who have been impacted by the "no mixing" between household rule in the Tier 2 restrictions introduced in Hillingdon from the 17 October 2020.(* NB .hospitality venues such as pubs , restaurants and cafes.)The guideline payments for these businesses is:
Businesses with a rateable value of £15,000 or under will receive £467 per 14- day qualifying restriction period.
Businesses with a rateable value of over £15,000 and under £51,000 will receive a payment of £700 per 14- day qualifying restriction period.
Business with a rateable value of £51,000 or over will receive £2,100.per 14- day qualifying restriction period.
Payments will be pro rata for the period 17 October 2020 to 4 November 2020 and a 14 day payment for 2 Dec 2020 to 15 December 2020
