Hillingdon Women’s Centre is proud of the difference we make in the community, this is seen through the projects that are currently ongoing and that have had a positive impact on members of the community.

Employ20 is an employment programme for women. The programme offers one-to-one sessions with a dedicated employment support worker. The one-to-one is designed to create individual plans to support women getting back to work.

The programme also offers guidance in CV and covering letter writing. The employment support worker will also help you with interview preparation, confidence-building and basic IT skills.

Workplace Safespace offers free training and consultancy services to organisations in the London Borough of Hillingdon. The project provides employers, managers and staff with the skills to acknowledge Domestic Abuse warning signs from colleagues, how to respond to sensitive disclosures, and how to refer people to appropriate services. We will equip employers with information on how their organisation can support colleagues who have been affected by Domestic Abuse.
