Christmas Message from the BID

It's been an interesting year and I think I can say with confidence that none of us expected what 2020 actually brought. The year we stayed home, baked banana bread, became zoom experts, home schooled reluctant kids, walked more, talked more, clapped more and cared more. We went out, we went back home, we ate out to help out, we became frustrated, we cried, we struggled, we lost people and we remembered how precious life can be and learned to appreciate the small things.

We shopped local, we supported local, we donated, we helped, we kept our community and town centre alive.

We just wanted to say thank you. Thank you to the businesses, thank you to the kids, the grown ups, the elderly, the at risk, the mask wearers, the social distancers, the shopkeepers, the front line workers, the small businesses owners, the retail staff, the restaurant workers, the baristas, the community volunteers and more!

Thank you for everything, you are all amazing!

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New from the Love Uxbridge (Uxbridge BID) team
