Months have passed since non-essential retail shopping, visits to the hairdresser or beauticians, eating out, visiting a pub garden and going to the gym were permitted in Uxbridge and we are beyond excited to welcome you back to our thriving town centre.
Whether you are coming in to see friends for a coffee, buying that new dress, getting your hair done (note to self don’t ever think you can cut and dye your own hair) or you are venturing out to the pub garden, rest assured all town centre businesses have taken every step and precaution to make your visit COVID safe and enjoyable!
If you're visiting one of our two shopping centres (The chimes and The Pavillions) from the 12th of April you can do so with the knowledge that regular cleaning is in place, social distancing reminders are prevalent and hand sanitising stations can be found throughout both centres. All of our high street shops will be adhering to social distancing, mask wearing and the staff will be on hand to support you.
Our Uxbridge BID Security Ambassadors and BID funded police officer PC Rice will be in our town centre supporting businesses, salon, eateries and providing additional assistance to the Hillingdon Council Civil Enforcement officers.
Members of the Uxbridge BID team can always be found in the town centre, stop us for a chat or even if it’s just to say hi, we love hearing about your Uxbridge experience.
Additionally, we just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you for supporting local, shopping local and helping our community survive and thrive over these past few months. We ask, that you please help us keep our town centre clean, COVID safe, friendly and kind as lockdown restrictions ease.
Have fun, stay safe and support our town centre,
The Uxbridge BID (Love Uxbridge Team)
