Welcome to Uxbridge Employment! We are a local, family run employment agency, based down Windsor Street. We have been running for 42 years and we are so lucky to be in the heart of Uxbridge alongside our fantastic neighbours.
We currently have four strings to our bow; Commercial Permanent (Dana, Siobhan, Nicole and Jo), Temporary, Industrial and our sister branch Windsor Employment. We have a large variety of roles for our local community, helping assist with anything from Administration to Forklift drivers. Our main aim is to be there to assist local businesses and build relationships.
We are working from home at the moment but as we are very old school, we love meeting every single one of our candidates that walk through the door. Our door is always open and we can help candidates with their future career. We are still able to offer services via facetime or zoom call and we do the same with each other every morning to boost our motivation and share ideas.
When you book to come into the agency, you will greeted by our lovely Emily! She will then take you downstairs to fill out the forms and take a copy of your passport. You will then be offered a drink (very important) and handed over to the consultant who is right for you! This will be an informal chat, going through your CV and listening to what you would like to do next! We are on hand to give advice on the job market, your CV and updating it for employer's to view.
We also have extra information on hand in our interview rooms, for you to take with you when you go. You will be introduced to the team (as they are probably already thinking of you for one of their jobs). We also sometimes have our boss dog, Bertie on site with us. If you are not a dog person, don't fear because he's based in the office above us and usually has a lot of paperwork and social media photoshoots to be getting on with! This then starts your journey with us! You are on our books as long as you would like to be.
We always ask if you could have a look on our website or job boards, as that is the main place we put ALL our live jobs. Just in case we ever miss anything or you see something we haven't thought of, you are registered with the whole agency. In case you would like some Temporary work with Lisa or
Sian in the meantime or Industrial with Orla, you can! We always like to keep in touch with our candidates for Temp of the month, quizzes and information from Bertie.
