Beautyvell is committed to eliminating the use of single use plastics. They have removed plastic stemmed cotton buds from the business & introduced bamboo & paper based disposables & applicators along the treatment menu. Their honey wax is organic, alongside biodegradable spatulas & natural fabric strips.
This year they introduced 20% off any retail products that can be refilled, a further commitment to saving plastic. They offer free paper bags & gift wrapping using recycled paper.
Beautyvell is situated in the heart of Uxbridge in a beautiful listed building in Windsor Street, one of the towns few areas that remain largely unspoilt. Many describe it as an oasis in the hub of the town centre. Ali has created a haven or tranquillity amongst the hustle & bustle of Uxbridge town centre.
In 1996 the salon was extended to double its size & gave Beautyvell more of a spa feel. With no frills, it is tastefully decorated throughout. Set over two floors, it now encompasses twelve private treatment rooms, a sunbed for those suffering with skin conditions such as psoriasis & eczema or deficient in vitamin D, a disabled bathroom on the ground floor, a bathroom & shower unit on the first floor, three manicure stations & three large reception areas.
The treatment list is extensive & alongside skin treatments & waxing, offers IPL, electrolysis, advanced electrolysis including thread vein & skin tag removal, massage including sports massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, eye treatments including LVL lashes & hand & foot care using Jessica products including GELeration, St Tropez tanning & ear piercing.
During lockdown Ali has introduced doorstep drop deliveries in a 10 mile radius of Uxbridge & as always offers free delivery to those clients that live further afield. When it is safe to return, she will offer office drop deliveries to those clients that are just too busy to leave their desk. Beautyvell introduced their popular click & collect service in 2017 where clients can place an order before middays & collect in their car or by walking past at the end of their working day.
The location of the salon is ideal. The catchment area is growing & Ali & her staff are now treating three generations of the same family & plan to keep this tradition going…
